Masters Mare is a balanced concentrate for pregnant and lactating (breeding) mares from approximately 8 months of pregnancy up to and including the entire nursing period.

Extra nutrients for mare and foal
A healthy foal already starts in the womb. From approximately 8 months of gestation, the foal has a major growth spurt in the belly and needs sufficient building materials to develop properly. The mare also needs extra nutrients. The growth and development of the foal requires a lot of energy, protein and the necessary vitamins, minerals and trace elements. The foal largely obtains this from nutrition via the umbilical cord and the mare's own supplies.

The mare also demands a lot from herself during the nursing period. Nursing a foal is a real top performance for which the mare needs a lot of energy and good building materials. This helps the mare to provide good quality milk with all the necessary nutrients to her foal.

Good resistance and fertility
Masters Mare contains a high proportion of easily digestible proteins and balanced levels of vitamins, minerals and (largely organically bound) trace elements that the mare can pass on to her growing foal. The mare chunk also supports the mare itself during the intensive nursing period and healthy fertility after birth. The total amount of vitamins, minerals and trace elements then corresponds to the mare's daily requirements. Extra vitamin C and biotin have been added to the chunks and the chunks contain pre- and postbiotics. This contributes to good intestinal health and therefore a well-functioning immune system of the mare.
