My name is Laura, and I am a farm girl, equestrian and fashionista!

Growing up on the family dairy farm instilled a love for animals from a very young age. Throughout my youth I was an active participant in both Dairy and Equine 4H.

As I grew older, my passion for horses and showjumping quickly surpassed my interest in the dairy industry. It was with the purchase of my first Canadian Warmblood that affirmed my love for horses, and is the origin of how jumping became a part of my being.

Through my high school years, I showed my horses regularly and was an active member of the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association.  I later joined the Canadian Young Breeders team, and competed internationally in Ireland, France, Great Britain, with my final year being in Canada.

After high school, my love of horses led me to Europe, where I worked for an internationally renowned Russian show jumper as her main groom, giving me the opportunity to attend all of the major shows across Europe and Russia.

I eventually made my way back home to Alberta and began working at a local clothing store, where I was able to indulge my love for fashion! During this time I also reconnected with the dairy industry and started working part time on a dairy farm.

With my passion for the equine world and love of fashion, becoming an EQ athletica partner seems like a natural fit.

I am very excited about the opportunity to combine my two passions, and would welcome the chance to help others find what they need and to feel comfortable and confident while doing it!
